The 120,000-DWT (Dead Weight Tonnage) oil tanker “SKS DRIVA” berthed at the oil products dock of Sinopec Hainan Refining & Chemical Co., Ltd. to load 96,000 tonnes of jet fuel on May 24^th. The jet fuel was shipped to British Port of Gibraltar in Europe on May 27^th and would be supplied to European airports.

This is Sinopec’s first direct inter-regional shipping of  jet fuel from its refinery to the European market, which is of great significance for Sinopec in terms of fully using its refining capacity, expanding jet fuel market share and realizing international operation and full integration into the Belt and Road Initiative.
